We came upon "Stonecroft" on our way home after spending considerable time looking for a suitable place to "downsize" to somewhere between Lake Huron & Toronto. Our family had settled in both the London & Kitchener areas and it was important to us to relocate from the busy east end of Toronto to somewhere that visiting would be easier. When we viewed the first model home I remember saying, "it was perfect." In fact, all the models had extremely appealing layouts and features. The all brick bungalow concept together with walking trails and the proposed recreation center convinced us to purchase the "Monticello" on a walkout lot. The builder met the closing date and we found the home to be very well built. They were very cooperative with any custom changes we wanted and together with a very good selection of products and colours to choose from, we have our dream home. Best of all everyone is very friendly and we find the town of New Hamburg has all the amenities we could want with additional extensive stores close in Waterloo/Kitchener and Stratford with all the activities and entertainment one could want. Thank you to Stonecroft and its staff for making our move an enjoyable adventure. Everyday we say, "We love our home and being here."
I enjoy my home and the walking trails and, at this point, I am looking forward to the completion of our Community Center. The Stonecroft area and the town of New Hamburg offers the residents privacy however opportunity is also there to interact in a social environment. I had the confidence I would find a positive life-style change by moving into Stonecroft and this has proven to be true.

Our two-year search for an adult community that would suite our semi-retired lifestyle came to an abrupt halt with our very first visit to Stonecroft. All that was here was an expanse of open fields, and the Presentation Center from which Mike Schout and his team were marketing a dream! The building itself allowed us to gauge the excellent quality of the construction we should expect, and the innovative large-scale model of the site afforded the opportunity to really visualize the potential of the development. The vibes were good; it seemed like the perfect place for Peter and me. Since then two more years have passed. We've watched houses go up, walking trails built, and landscaping mature. Mike's dream for Stonecroft is materializing before our eyes and he's delivering on all his promises. Now that we've been in our own Dorchester for five months we can honestly say we couldn't be happier. We have New Hamburg and area, and we love everything about the development. From the first time we visited the Sales Office of Stonecroft we found the sales staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. We immediately fell in love with the homes and surroundings after several visits and conversations with some of the residents we decided to buy a home. The building process was made easy with helpful suggestions from all the staff. We made almost weekly visits to the office and were always Warmly Welcomed. We are delighted to have finally moved in. Even after only a week, we already feel "at home".
